GLORIOUS DAYS IN LONDON.
There is something truly special about London during Fall. The light is particularly beautiful and makes the city perfect for wandering around and capturing the different neighborhoods.
We couldn’t think of a better way to start off our week than with a cup of hot chocolate « and a lot of whipped cream »
One of our favorite neighborhood in London is Notting Hill and its colorful houses. But before heading to the famous Portobello Road, we stopped at Granger & Co for a delicious brunch.
We were so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of their "Ricotta hotcakes, banana & honeycomb butter", but if by any chance you go there, don't miss out on this puffy, sweet and exquisite dish.
We then turned into full-on tourists and made the most of our week in London, visiting the most iconic places and the charming little shopping streets, Covent Garden, Carnaby street, Soho, Neal street, Monmouth street, Seven Dials, Leicester Square, Oxford Circus, Regent street etc.
Of course we couldn't have done it without eating our way through the city. We loved our lunch time at Dishoom, great Indian food and fabulous drinks, especially the Rose Lassi with Cardamon.
We also tested another hip place of the city: Sketch. All of their rooms are absolutely fantastic, perfectly decorated. The pink room, the boudoir, designed by David Shrigley, makes you feel as if you were in a Wes Anderson movie.
We were lucky enough to see the "Heartbeat" exhibition of Charles Petillon in Covent Garden, all those white balloons made the place so unique and magical.
After an amazing week of food and shopping it was time for us to go, but we couldn't resist of taking some pictures in the London Tube.
But guess what, our next stop is DUBLIN.
